We are seeking an experienced UAT/QA Tester who is responsible for validating that applications meet business requirements and are ready for deployment. This role works closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and developers to ensure quality, usability, and alignment with client expectations.

Requirements

• Strong experience in UAT and functional testing
• Previous experience testing tax applications
• Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
• Experience with tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
• SQL experience for data validation
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business requirements and workflows
• Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Validate new features, enhancements, and system changes before release
• Support regression testing to ensure stability across releases
• Coordinate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and blockers
• Facilitate or support UAT sessions with business users and SMEs
• Analyze test results and provide reporting on quality and readiness
• Ensure applications meet functional, usability, and data accuracy standards
• Lead UAT cycles and stakeholder walkthroughs
• Coordinate release timing and testing readiness
• Review team testing outputs and remove blockers
• Support Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)
• Ensure alignment between business intent and technical delivery
