About The Position

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is hiring a UAS Project Manager in Washington, DC. Qualified candidates must have an active Secret clearance and ability to successfully pass a Customer and Border Protection Background Investigation (CBP BI). This position allows for Work from Home options: 3 days onsite/2 days remote. The pay range for this position in DC is $100,000 to $160,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location. Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in project management, especially supporting DoD programs.
  • Experience in DoD Air Vehicle/Systems Engineering and Requirements Analysis and Management.
  • Prior experience with JCIDS Documentation and DoD Programming, Planning, and Budgeting.
  • Professional, effective communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Customer and Border Protection Background Investigation (CBP BI).

Nice To Haves

  • DoD (or DHS equivalent) Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Program Management or Career Field Life Cycle Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) program office by providing life cycle acquisition planning and sustainment support for the MQ-9 fleet.
  • Perform requirements analysis and traceability, conduct market research, prepare draft acquisition documents, establish and implement program plans and milestones, and draft/monitor program schedules, correspondence, action items, and financial reports.
  • Establish and implement program plans and milestones.
  • Formulate and executes logistical support plans to sustain military/aerospace technology.
  • Generate and track program schedules, correspondence action items, and financial reports.
  • Maintain database programs to support logistics efforts, and track Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
  • Identify, analyze, and evaluate the logistics support requirements for UAS operations to include facilities, training, technical manuals, spare parts, support equipment, and maintenance requirements.
