About The Position

Ondas Sentinel is a next-generation U.S. defense platform integrating long-endurance ISR, autonomous systems, counter-UAS technologies, and mission intelligence. DZYNE Technologies was recently acquired by Ondas Inc. and has joined forces with World View to create Ondas Sentinel. While DZYNE is now part of Ondas Sentinel, it is still legally operating as DZYNE during the formal integration of systems and processes. Candidates will be joining a team that is accelerating the future of autonomous defense, backed by significant investment, strong growth, and mission-proven technology. They will work alongside world-class engineers and innovators who have delivered thousands of operational flight hours, high-impact ISR capabilities, leading counter-UAS systems, and breakthrough autonomous effects. The role involves shaping a unified platform that enables operators to see more, decide faster, and act with confidence across the modern battlespace. Ondas Sentinel is building a scalable, integrated defense organization designed to meet emerging mission needs with speed, precision, and purpose.

Requirements

  • 500 hours of Tier III / IV UAS experience while acting as the Pilot in Command.
  • Maintain FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • FAA Commercial Pilot's License with Instrument rating OR prior military qualification on a DoD group 3/4/5 UAS.
  • Must be able to pass a standard deployment physical and maintain deployment readiness.
  • Active DoD security clearance.
  • Ability to hold a DoW Secret or Top-Secret Clearance as required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Must demonstrate extensive understanding of UAS and FAA principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Must have excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to efficiently collaborate with aircrew, management, civilian and government customers, and contractors.
  • Must have a team-first attitude and drive for system success.

Nice To Haves

  • Operational Piccolo Autopilot AVO experience.
  • Experience being deployed in support of military ISR UAS operations.
  • A strong work ethic and an internal sense of responsibility are highly desired.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Equivalent military or civil aviation operational leadership experience may substitute for formal education.

Responsibilities

  • Safely manage and conduct the operation of developmental group 4-5 unmanned aerial system (UAS) platforms and related payloads as required.
  • Operate in environments that do not have fully developed documentation and training courses.
  • Create, review, edit, and publish crew training documentation, checklists, operations manuals, and other contract-required documents.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Support development flight test, mission control, and transit operations both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Be present on-site for training events, evaluations, and test events, with flexibility for remote administrative and planning tasks.
  • Work independently and lead in a team environment.
  • Work extended hours when required.
  • Support seven (7) complete 9-hour on-site workdays per week during CONUS test and flight operations.
  • Support seven (7) complete 12-hour on-site workdays per week during OCONUS test and flight operations.
