U.S. Payroll Analyst

About The Position

This position involves managing payroll inputs, accounting, auditing, payment processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and time and absence system processing and reporting. The role requires collaboration with HR business partners, employees, and external providers to manage day-to-day payroll matters, ensure adherence to payroll regulations, and support annual audits and financial statement preparation. The analyst will also assist in system integration, including new applications and configuration.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree / emphasis in accounting
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Experience with Workday time / absence systems
  • Strong technical skills
  • Journal creation and account reconciliation
  • Corporate finance experience
  • Payroll processing managing inputs thru output review and approval
  • Payroll Benefit knowledge
  • Accuracy and attention to detail / prioritization / multitasking
  • Communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll input according to deadlines
  • Review output, reconcile gross to net, post payroll journals and reconcile accounts
  • Support annual audits and preparation of financial statements
  • Manage day-to-day payroll matters in collaboration with HR business partners, employees, and external providers as necessary
  • Ensure adherence to payroll regulations
  • Assist in system integration, including new applications and configuration
