U.S. Payroll Analyst

About The Position

This position involves managing payroll inputs, accounting, auditing, payment processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and time and absence system processing and reporting. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, and at least eight years of payroll experience, including proficiency with Workday time/absence systems and strong technical skills. Key responsibilities include reviewing output, reconciling gross to net, posting payroll journals, reconciling accounts, supporting annual audits, preparing financial statements, managing day-to-day payroll matters in collaboration with HR business partners, employees, and external providers, ensuring adherence to payroll regulations, and assisting in system integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree; preferably with an emphasis in accounting
  • 8+ years of payroll experience
  • Experience with Workday time / absence systems
  • Strong technical skills
  • Journal creation and account reconciliation
  • Corporate finance experience
  • Payroll processing managing inputs thru output review and approval

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll input according to deadlines
  • Review output, reconcile gross to net, post payroll journals and reconcile accounts
  • Support annual audits and preparation of financial statements
  • Manage day-to-day payroll matters in collaboration with HR business partners, employees, and external providers as necessary
  • Ensure adherence to payroll regulations
  • Assist in system integration, including new applications and configuration
