About The Position

This position is for a U.S. Associate in Tax, available in either the New York or Washington D.C. office. The role involves taxation of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and/or private equity funds and structures. A strong candidate will also have experience with capital markets transactions as well as international transactions. The base salary range offered for this role will be between $225,000 and $235,000. The total compensation package may include overtime pay, discretionary bonuses, and other benefits. Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school/Tax LL.M
• Admission to and in good standing with the New York or Washington D.C. Bar
• Self-starters and team-oriented
• Eagerness to learn
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of Big 4 experience
• Experience with taxation of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
• Experience with private equity funds and structures
