About The Position

We are seeking a skilled TypeScript/JavaScript Developer with strong experience in Windows environments for a 6-month remote contract. The role involves building production-grade applications, deploying them within a Windows ecosystem, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development principles, with a focus on creating clean, testable code and managing the full software lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
  • Evidence of building production-grade applications.
  • Experience writing clean, testable code.
  • Experience deploying applications in a Windows environment.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, IIS, or Windows-based runtime environments.
  • Comfortable working in Windows-based development and deployment workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with deployment pipelines.
  • Experience using CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Has participated in release automation or deployment scripting.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms configured for Windows workloads (e.g., Azure, Windows VMs).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with common JS/TS frameworks (Node.js, React, etc.) (context-dependent).
  • Has worked end-to-end: build → test → deploy → support.
  • Mentions shipping software to production.
  • Experience in troubleshooting deployment or release issues.
  • Collaboration with infra / DevOps / Ops teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
  • Build production-grade applications with clean, testable code.
  • Deploy applications in a Windows environment, including Windows Server and IIS.
  • Work within Windows-based development and deployment workflows.
