Requirements

• 12 months of experience working with children in a BFTS Licensed Childcare Center.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching
• CPR and First Aid certification required (we will help you get this)
• Background check clearance required
• Ability to work from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday

Nice To Haves

• CDA or TCC preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Implementing appropriate lesson plans for 2-year-olds
• Foster a safe and welcoming classroom environment
• Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance their learning experience.
• Stay up to date with state-required training.
