About The Position
The purpose of the Twisting & Heatset Maintenance Tech is to repair and maintain Twisting and Heatset equipment. This role requires adherence to all Safety, Plant & Quality Guidelines. The technician will operate equipment and fill in for unoccupied jobs when needed, perform repairs and maintenance on Twisting and Heatset equipment, and assist with lot changes in Twisting and Heatset as they occur.
Requirements
- Previous twisting and heat set maintenance experience on continuous autoclave and direct cable twisters.
- Must be able to read and write and do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
- Must be computer trainable (data entry).
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.
- Repetitive hand motions 3 out of 8 hours using wrenches, snips, scissors, and hand tools.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
