About The Position
The Beacon Project is seeking a Tutor for the Fall term. This position involves greeting and engaging teens, assisting the Pantry and Beacon Coordinator, and tutoring high school students in literacy and math activities. Due to the clientele being minors, discretion is required, and a strict privacy policy is in place, prohibiting selfies and videos on the premises. The candidate will also need to sign a confidentiality agreement.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Basic computer skills
- Organized, friendly, and have a positive attitude
- Familiar with office equipment
- Adherence to policies regarding smoking/vaping/drinking/drugs/weapons on or near premises.
- Adherence to dress code: casual, neat, clean appearance, torso covered, closed-toed shoes.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual - Spanish preference
