About The Position

Bailey Education Group, LLC is seeking Tutors in Missouri who are retired or former educators with a strong desire to impact schools. This role involves implementing 'The Bailey Way,' focusing on impactful, results-driven education. The tutor will provide targeted ELA and/or mathematics instruction, aligning with state content standards, assessment blueprints, grade-level learning progressions, and high-quality instructional resources. Key responsibilities include delivering evidence-based instruction, documenting student learning, monitoring student growth through assessments, and adapting instructional strategies as needed. The tutor will also collaborate with classroom teachers, utilizing various data points (classroom, benchmark, pre-assessment, formative) to identify priority skills, address student needs, and adjust tutoring based on ongoing learning evidence. The goal is to mentor the next generation of scholars and transform education to improve student outcomes across Missouri.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide targeted ELA and/or mathematics instruction.
Align tutoring with classroom instruction.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to use data for identifying priority skills and addressing student needs.
Document student learning.
Monitor pre- to post-assessment growth.
Modify instructional strategies when progress stalls.
Adjust tutoring based on ongoing evidence of learning.
