About The Position
The Beacon Project is seeking a Tutor for the Fall term. This position involves greeting and engaging teens, assisting the Pantry and Beacon Coordinator, and tutoring high school students in literacy and math activities. Due to working with minors, discretion is required, and a confidentiality agreement must be signed. Selfies, videos, etc., are not allowed in or around the location due to a strict privacy policy.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Basic computer skills
- Organized, friendly, and have a positive attitude
- No smoking/vaping/drinking/drugs/weapons on or near premises.
- Familiar office equipment
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual - Spanish preference
