About The Position

Tutor Doctor Sun Prairie is a small, locally owned business focused on helping families by matching tutors with students. The role involves providing 1-on-1 in-home tutoring or tutoring at local libraries. Tutors are treated as part-time employees and will receive a W2 at the end of the year. A commitment of at least 6 months is typically required to ensure student continuity.

Nice To Haves

• 2nd year in college or equivalent (Preferred)
• Tutoring experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 in-home tutoring or tutoring at the local library.
• Help students with homework and learning new concepts.
• Connect with students and teach to their specific learning styles.
• Complete a written session report after every tutoring session.
• Participate in an initial Tutor Doctor orientation to learn about the internal system for student matches, session reports, and tracking hours.
