About The Position
ABC Education, an award-winning alternative provision tutoring company serving over 40 counties in the UK, is seeking QTS Tutors and Experienced Tutors. This role involves working with students in school or home environments, providing tuition in Maths, English, or Science. The ideal candidate will adopt a creative, flexible, and holistic approach to learning, aiming to ignite passion and support re-engagement.
Requirements
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
- Minimum of 2 years of SEND/SEMH teaching experience
- Experience of safeguarding processes and health & safety procedures
- Enhanced DBS maintained on the update service
- Three professional references
- Must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Working closely with students to provide a project-based curriculum to ignite passion for learning and support re-engagement.
- Building positive relationships and utilising the best approach for each learner.
- Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress.
