About The Position

As directed, provide discipline-specific academic assistance to learners and support the operation and promotion of services. This position is generally limited to working a maximum of 19.5 hours per week. This position is Security Sensitive, therefore, candidates will be subject to a criminal background check. Requirements

  • Knowledge of content within the specified subject field

  • Required Master's degree with relevant courses and/or skills connected to the tutoring subject.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of tutoring/teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support learners through individual and/or group tutoring in a variety of modalities.
  • Assist students with course-related equipment and supplies.
  • Create, maintain and assure accuracy of records of students tutored as required under department guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
  • Prepare and present workshops as needed.
  • Assist with daily operations and promotion of services.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
