About The Position

Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee is hiring science tutors, academic coaches, and specialized-support tutors for in-home and online tutoring across the East Valley. This role offers a flexible schedule and local team support, with performance bonuses. Tutors will make a meaningful difference in students' lives without managing the business side of tutoring. The mission is to help prepare today's youth to become tomorrow's successful adults.

Requirements

• Current college enrollment or a completed college degree.
• Background as a teacher, education professional, or subject-matter expert.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring assignments.
• A genuine passion for education and student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and online tutoring across the East Valley.
• Tutor in subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, and nursing prerequisites.
• Offer academic coaching including organization, study skills, and time management.
• Provide special education and neurodivergent student support with patient, individualized instruction.
• Conduct daytime homeschool tutoring.
• Adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Build meaningful, long-term 1:1 relationships with students.
