About The Position

Ditsch USA is looking for a Turret Truck Operator to join their Cincinnati team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are paramount. The operator will be responsible for keeping warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations running smoothly. The position requires a strong sense of organization, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring inventory is accurately placed and tracked. This is a hands-on role for an individual who takes pride in precision, equipment safety, and being a dependable part of the operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of turret truck driving experience required.
  • Forklift certification or equivalent training required.
  • Experience operating turret trucks or similar high-lift equipment.
  • Experience using warehouse management or inventory systems such as SAGE, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights/in narrow aisles.
  • Ability to perform repeated standing, walking, bending, reaching, squatting, and climbing as needed.
  • Comfortable working in varied temperatures, including freezer, dock, warehouse, and production areas.
  • Comfortable working around powered moving equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret common industry, production, safety, and technical documents in English.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Food manufacturing or warehouse/logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a turret truck to retrieve, store, relocate, and organize materials.
  • Use warehouse management systems and scanning tools to track inventory accurately.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare inventory for shipping or internal use.
  • Inspect materials for damage, labeling accuracy, quality, and compliance concerns.
  • Follow all safety, PPE, GMP, equipment inspection, and warehouse procedures.
  • Support shipping, receiving, loading/unloading, and team training as needed.
