To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Turret Punch Press Operator located in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Turret Punch Press Operator is responsible for operating a Turret punch press machine to shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates according to specifications. Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating a punch press machine
Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate punch press controls
Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans including blueprints and drawings
Strong attention to detail skills, basic computer and math skills

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred

Responsibilities

Operates a punch press to manufacture parts from sheet metal or metal plates
Prepares, sets up, and adjusts punch press as required by product plans and production schedules
Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available
Measures and aligns materials to be used
Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
Performs routine maintenance on the punch press
Maintains a clean work area
Performs other related duties as assigned
