Requirements

  • 1+ year of maintenance or related experience in apartment, residential, or property maintenance
  • Hands-on knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall repair
  • Skilled in appliance installation and repair, unit turnovers, and minor flooring or fixture replacement
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional, positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple work orders and meet move-in deadlines
  • Comfortable using smartphones and basic computer tools for work orders and documentation
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and proactive in addressing maintenance needs
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto-insurance
  • Willing to complete a background and drug screening if offered the position

Responsibilities

  • Perform apartment turnovers, including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and fixture replacement
  • Handle basic plumbing and electrical work, such as rebuilding faucets and replacing light bulbs and fixtures
  • Support appliance installation and repairs as needed
  • Maintain clean and safe grounds and common areas
  • Complete work orders, mileage forms, and time sheets accurately and on time
  • Keep company tools and equipment in good working order
  • Collaborate with the Service Supervisor and maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
