As a Turnover Technician with Towne Properties, you’ll play a hands-on role in preparing apartment homes for new residents and keeping our community looking its best. Requirements
- 1+ year of maintenance or related experience in apartment, residential, or property maintenance
- Hands-on knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall repair
- Skilled in appliance installation and repair, unit turnovers, and minor flooring or fixture replacement
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional, positive attitude
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple work orders and meet move-in deadlines
- Comfortable using smartphones and basic computer tools for work orders and documentation
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and proactive in addressing maintenance needs
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto-insurance
- Willing to complete a background and drug screening if offered the position
Responsibilities
- Perform apartment turnovers, including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and fixture replacement
- Handle basic plumbing and electrical work, such as rebuilding faucets and replacing light bulbs and fixtures
- Support appliance installation and repairs as needed
- Maintain clean and safe grounds and common areas
- Complete work orders, mileage forms, and time sheets accurately and on time
- Keep company tools and equipment in good working order
- Collaborate with the Service Supervisor and maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
