About The Position

" Opportunity Snapshot: Compensation: $62-68.00/hour DOE Location: Pasadena, TX Work Schedule: 7 days per week, 12 hour days Assignment Duration: 4-6 weeks Responsibilities Validate job scope with Operations to ensure clear definitions and expectations and i nput validated job scope into WorkPak and assign to a planner Assign technical data to jobs in WorkPak (PID#, torque specs, etc) Support turnaround specialists in planning efforts through mentoring and technical support Work with operations to get unit specific data (blind lists, decom lists, chemical cleaning requirements) Gather quotes from vendors, compile in folders and communicate this info with cost department Coordinate materials strategy with purchaser and materials coordinators (i.e. surplus usage, materials on order, items bagged and tagged, etc.) Develop/Review/Approve project schedule and resource requirements Assign work areas/packages to coordinators and monitor the progress eliminating road blocks when they arise Communicate with all parties what is going on in the field; including, but not limited to: contractor/delay/AWR info to cost group, work progress to schedulers, email updates to management Review 3 shift look ahead and update priorities Validate and track AWR and delay logs Validate manpower needs through scheduler data and monitoring work fronts in the field Validate contractor progress to ensure accurate forecasting Ensure contractors staff and de-staff according to current plan Maintain a safe and sanitary work place Participate in Risk reviews and Lesson Learned meetings Mentor other turnaround specialists on industry standards Assist the Turnaround Team with all other duties assigned Qualifications The ability to read at a level to understand written safety procedures, work procedures, blue prints, P&IDs, work permits, and technical instruction manuals is required. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. The ability to assume responsibility, prioritize and respond to multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions. A publicly traded company they are a leading provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGL's), crude oil, and refined products/petrochemicals.

Requirements

The ability to read at a level to understand written safety procedures, work procedures, blue prints, P&IDs, work permits, and technical instruction manuals is required.
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
The ability to assume responsibility, prioritize and respond to multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions.
At least 4-6 years of prior experience in a plant environment, handling Turnaround tasks

Responsibilities
