About The Position

This role involves managing store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and providing exceptional customer service. The associate will be responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience through excellent service, product knowledge, and efficient transaction processing. Key duties include handling sales, managing cash registers, maintaining inventory, and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

Ability to process information/sod sales through computer system and POS register system.
Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
Ability to follow verbal and written communications and communicate effectively with associates and customers professionally and courteously.
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
Ability to make mathematical computations with accuracy.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Responsibilities

Open and close the store as necessary.
Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer-friendly environment.
Greet and acknowledge every customer.
Maintain outstanding standards and solid product knowledge.
Provide professional service in person and on the telephone.
Answer customer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
Communicate customer requests to management.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers.
Keep a record of sales, prepare daily counts, and inventory grass.
Remove and record the amount of cash in the register at the end of the shift.
Close out the cash register, count money, complete cash sheets, deposit money collected, and post daily transactions to the General Ledger.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
