About The Position
Beyel Brothers is seeking an experienced Tugboat Captain with a Master of Towing endorsement. The company works in crane operations, rigging, heavy haulage, and marine transport, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The captain is responsible for safe and efficient vessel navigation, maintaining a safe working environment, and supervising onboard operations. The position follows a rotation of 28 days on duty and 14 days off.
Requirements
- Merchant Mariner 200 Ton Master upon Oceans with a Master of Towing Endorsement.
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- US Passport.
- Experienced Tugboat Captain.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient navigation of the vessel.
- Maintain a safe working environment throughout vessel operations.
- Ensure crew members are provided with information to adhere to Maritime Regulations.
- Direct crew in recordkeeping.
- Supervise crewmembers in their onboard duties.
- Maintain open communication with the Port Captain and management.
