The Tufting Machine Operator is ultimately responsible for all activity on the machine to which they are assigned. This role involves overseeing creelers and menders, ensuring correct yarn loading and turf inspection, accurately completing all necessary paperwork, and operating the tufting machine itself. This includes tasks such as threading needles, fixing pull downs, changing blades and hooks, and replacing backing as needed. The operator is responsible for all assigned duties and any other tasks deemed necessary by management.
