About The Position
The Tufting Crew Leader is responsible for the direction of the Creeler/Burn-In crews and the assistance of the shift supervisor. This includes filling-in and assisting the Warping Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Direct burn-in crews in assignments, and monitor the burn-in crews output.
- Direct Creelers in assignments to creel machines, and monitor the output of the creelers.
- Assist Tufting QC with weight checks and check rolls.
- Assist Supervisor in efficient movement of operators.
- Assist Supervisor with daily operations of department.
- Escort potential new hires and interview.
- Will process paperwork in absence of supervisor.
- Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner.
- Miscellaneous duties as required.
- Assist waste teams in Department and Plant.
