About The Position

Universal Beauty Products is seeking an experienced, hands-on Tubing Supervisor to lead daily tube filling and packaging operations in a fast-paced cosmetics manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring products are safely filled, sealed, coded, and packaged while meeting production schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The Tubing Supervisor provides direct leadership to Tube Line Leads and Production Associates while driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment performance, reducing downtime, and achieving production targets through effective leadership and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with hands-on tubing line exposure, minimum 5 years.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated ability to manage production or tubing teams effectively while fostering teamwork and accountability
  • Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and risk mitigation strategies
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Understanding of PPLH, labor efficiency, OEE, schedule attainment, yield and other manufacturing KPI's.
  • Ability to interpret production schedules, work instructions and quality documentation.
  • Computer proficiency required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or technical training preferred.
  • Experience in cosmetics, personal care, food, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices is advantageous
  • Microsoft Office, SAP or ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tube filling and packaging operations to meet production schedules and customer demand.
  • Ensure lines fill, seal, code, and package products to approved specifications.
  • Assign labor to maximize productivity and line efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions, SOPs, FDA Cosmetic GMPs, and ISO 22716 standards.
  • Coordinate changeovers to reduce downtime and improve OEE.
  • Partner cross-functionally to maintain uninterrupted production.
  • Supervise, coach, train, and develop Line Leads and Production Associates.
  • Lead start-up meetings and communicate daily priorities.
  • Monitor attendance and performance; address coaching and corrective actions as needed.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with FDA Cosmetic GMPs, ISO 22716, OSHA, and company policies.
  • Verify line clearance, product ID, traceability, coding accuracy, and GDP.
  • Monitor quality checks and address non-conformances promptly.
  • Support audits, CAPAs, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Enforce PPE requirements and safe work practices.
  • Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workplace using 5S principles.
  • Drive and improve key manufacturing metrics, including: PPLH, OEE, Schedule attainment, RFT, Yield, Downtime, Scrap/rework, labor efficiency, Safety and inventory accuracy.
