About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position operating and troubleshooting a Tube Laser machine. Responsibilities include using hard gages and calipers to confirm part quality, utilizing a forklift and crane to load material, and performing daily preventative maintenance. The role typically involves setting up multiple jobs per day and using prints and work instructions to determine cutting specifications.

Requirements

• Ability to understand work orders and follow instructions
• Work with little direction (other than standard procedures)
• Ability to understand and follow at MEC safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a dedication to achieving results and be able to sustain high drive and energy

Nice To Haves

• Having laser experience is preferred, especially Tube Laser
• Knowledge of tubular steel manufacturing and fabrication processes is a PLUS!
