About The Position

Insure truck tire testing is scheduled, monitored, shipped, and reports are issued. Analyze Truck Tire sections as required for QA Surveillance Testing. CTD Excellence, interface with local PI, local PE, Central QM. Monitor QA surveillance test results. Participate in 02I warranty return meetings. Maintain calibration and working condition of equipment. Interface with Corporate Tire Technology, and Engineering on test related issues. Perform other duties as directed by the QA Manager. Analyze new tire startup cut tire sections. Analyze anomalous tire sections to determine root cause of scrap IV as requested. Audit QA Warehouse holds including trailer lock out tags. Lead customer satisfaction initiatives (tire sort) in local and external warehouse or customer location. Perform the duties of QA Tire Cutter, QA Grader as a backup to these positions as requested. Maintain storage and retention of all cut tire sections as per QMD requirements. Data reporting and other tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
