About The Position
K-12 Therapy is seeking an experienced in-home Personal Care Assistant to function as an Instructional Aide. This role will involve working with an Autistic child who is attending a cyber school program. The student requires 35 hours of aide support per week during their school day. This position offers competitive pay of up to $25.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement at a rate of $0.534 cents per mile. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in substitute teaching and is expected to extend through the summer and into the next school year.
Requirements
- Must have current FBI/BCI and child abuse clearances.
- Must have child abuse reporting training.
- Must have at least 60 college credits or an associate's degree.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism, is preferred.
