TSDF Maintenance Tech-2
About The Position
Under the supervision of a lead, foreman or supervisor, the TSDF Maintenance Tech performs repair, maintenance and installation duties on facilities, treatment plant and equipment. This role involves performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on plant, facilities, and equipment. The technician will also troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, plan repairs, and install new equipment and fixtures. Fabrication of metal, including cutting, forming, and joining, is also a key responsibility. The role requires coordination with contractors for onsite projects, managing parts and materials (ordering, receiving, stocking), and maintaining relevant files and logs. Additionally, the position includes performing general housekeeping and groundskeeping duties, as well as other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and compressor systems.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and other maintenance functions.
- Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments.
- Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
Responsibilities
- Performs inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on plant, facilities and equipment.

- Orders, receives or collects, and stocks parts and other maintenance materials.
- Maintains files and logs.
- Performs general housekeeping and groundskeeping.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
