About The Position

Precise Systems is seeking a Hybrid TS Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester to support a suite of government web-based business applications. The candidate will be responsible for the execution of end-to-end testing for product releases, including functional, system, and regression testing. Responsibilities include the development of software test plans, test scenarios and cases, and defect logging and reproduction procedures. This position may allow for hybrid work, but employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs. The candidate will be required to be onsite in a controlled secure environment as needed and must be located in commutable distance to Patuxent River, Maryland.

Requirements

BA/BS degree or an AS or AA degree and four (4) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position, or six (6) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position
At least one (1) year of experience in the software development testing environment
At least six (6) months of related experience in project support quality assurance or six (6) months of experience in software development quality assurance testing
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

Designing and executing manual test plans and test scenarios for software components and builds
Converting business requirements into test plans and test cases
Working closely with software developers to develop test specifications and build test cases to rigorously test product functionality and investigate all potential product test failures
Defect/Bug tracking and reproduction procedures
Acting as a software testing resource on project teams, and interacting with Developers, System Analysts, Project Managers, and other QA analysts.
