About The Position
We are a law firm located in West LA, seeking an associate attorney with experience in trusts & estate planning and probate administration. Corresponding experience in limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, real estate, and transactional matters will be advantageous. An ideal candidate will be someone with 5+ years of experience. LLM in taxation is a plus.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
- strong analytical and problem solving skills
- confidence to meet and work with clients and effectively communicate solutions to same
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work with others
Nice To Haves
- LLM in taxation
- Certified Specialist in taxation or trust/probate law
- experience in limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, real estate, and transactional matters
Responsibilities
- draft estate planning documents, including but not limited to Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, trust administration documents, and probate proceeding documents
- meet with clients regarding same and effectively communicate to clients
- supervise staff, work with others, and perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
