About The Position

Analyze, advise, manage and report on a portfolio of investment real estate assets within Huntington’s Private Bank policies and procedures. Identify, mitigate and escalate risks accordingly. Collaborate and serve as subject matter expert with other advisor teammates and clients. Acquire, maintain and liquidate real estate assets as determined by the account’s governing documents or when deemed prudent. Perform capital expenditure and routine maintenance projects. Responsible for lease management such as negotiation, tenant credit worthiness, tenant improvements, tenant relations and account receivables. Direct management and / or oversite of third-party vendors which include property management companies, appraisers, vendors and contractors. Collect, review and maintain asset documentation including deeds, leases, liens and others. Conduct on-site asset inspections. Monitor and process insurance coverages ensuring prudent values and coverages. Manage insurance claim proceedings including filing, repairing and closing claims. Monitor and process payments of taxes ensuing prudent assessed values and exemptions. Assist with developing new business with attorneys, CPA’s and centers of influence as a real estate specialist.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance, General Business, Management or Real Estate major preferred).
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in real estate or asset management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
