About The Position

This role is responsible for business development, and administering trusts, estates, and investment management accounts. The Trust Officer will ensure assets are invested according to the Investment Policy Statement and consistent with the purpose of the trust and/or account objective. This position manages client relationships by providing a high level of client satisfaction and develops new account relationships through community and professional visibility. The role also engages in client expansion and cross-serving for bank services, actively pursues new business, and expands market presence by building and maintaining relationships with clients, bank employees, attorneys, and other centers of influence to generate leads. Additionally, the Trust Officer may supervise, coach, train, and mentor other staff, and is responsible for various projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree required in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Trust experience.
  • Ability to retain clients and develop new business.
  • Goal oriented and self-starter.
  • Demonstrates analytical and decision making skills.
  • Effectively work as a team member and independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer personal trusts, estates, and investment management accounts in accordance with the terms and provisions of the governing document.

  • May supervise, coach, train, and mentor other Isabella Wealth staff.
  • Responsible for various projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
