Trust and Safety Analyst, Developer Experience and Ecosystem Programs
About The Position
As a Trust and Safety Analyst focused on developer experience programs and ecosystem success, you will play a pivotal role in enabling developers to build, publish, and scale safe applications across the broader ecosystem. You will act as the subject matter expert and specialist for Android developer verification and ecosystem programs such as registered app stores. You will handle complex, high-judgment disputes and manage quality frameworks for ecosystem operations, acting as a crucial bridge between policy and execution identifying friction points, refining standard operating procedures, and ensuring high standards for safety while maintaining a positive developer experience. We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Education in, or experience with, machine learning.
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive calibration and quality assurance for program operations.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ecosystem programs requirements and procedures.
- Handle escalations and complex cases from developers and cross-functional teams.
- Support an AI-first operation by providing critical human judgment and expertise.
