About The Position
Extraco Banks is seeking a successful Trust Advisor to join our team in our Waco, Texas office. This role involves the administration of Personal Trust, Family Trust, and Estates. The Trust Advisor will develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction while overseeing profitability, risk management, and legal and compliance issues. A key aspect of the role is pursuing and developing new client relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a Trust Advisory role.
- Reasonable math and accounting skills.
- Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced level of performance, requiring minimum supervision.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Background in Finance, Accounting, or law are a plus.
- Masters level degree in Finance, Accounting, etc. or JD, MBA or CPA a plus.
Responsibilities
- Managing a book of trust and agency clients and client requests.
- Prospecting for new business with contacts and Centers of Influence.
- Monthly client Investment reviews, Annual Reg 9 compliance reviews, and 90 Initial Account opening reviews.
- Common Trust Fund management.
- Managing tax reporting process for clients.
