Evercore Trust Company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trust Administrator to join our Wilmington, Delaware office. This role will support the administration of trust relationships, with a primary focus on Delaware trusts, and will work closely with Wealth & Fiduciary Advisors, investment professionals, clients, attorneys, accountants, beneficiaries, co-fiduciaries, and other internal and external partners. The Trust Administrator will be responsible for the administration of assigned trust relationships, with a primary focus on Delaware trusts. This professional will oversee day-to-day trust administration and help ensure that trusts are administered accurately, consistently, and in accordance with governing instruments, applicable fiduciary standards, internal policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. Depending on the nature of the relationship, the Trust Administrator may serve as the primary day-to-day contact or may partner with a Wealth & Fiduciary Advisor who maintains the broader client relationship. Because the Chief Fiduciary Officer is also based in the Delaware office, this role will also provide opportunities to support broader fiduciary governance initiatives, including fiduciary committee processes and board reporting related to the trust company’s fiduciary activities. This role requires strong technical trust administration experience, sound fiduciary judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance responsive client service with disciplined fiduciary process, documentation, and operational execution.
