About The Position

This role involves performing two types of trussing: full body and hocks only. For trussing hocks only, the process involves pulling the bird off the cone, wrapping the band around the legs twice, and then tossing the bird onto the conveyor. The trusser is also responsible for grading birds, removing any birds with missing body parts or incorrect sizes, and placing them into a blue tote. The position requires adherence to all assigned duties by the supervisor, maintaining a clean work area, and following handwashing protocols at designated stations.
