About The Position
The Designer is responsible for creating accurate and detailed product and structural designs based on customer plans, specifications, and project requirements. This role works closely with customers, sales teams, and operations to ensure designs meet applicable standards, project timelines, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

- Experience in design, drafting, engineering support, or related field
- Familiarity with CAD or industry-specific design software
- Knowledge of construction, building materials, or structural systems

Responsibilities
- Create and revise designs based on customer plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical drawings
- Ensure designs meet applicable building codes, engineering standards, and company requirements
- Review completed designs for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding design details, revisions, and approvals
- Respond to customer requests and incorporate changes as needed
- Coordinate with operations, sales, and production teams to support project timelines and requirements
- Verify project details prior to production or shipment to ensure accuracy
- Provide technical support related to product design and specifications
- Identify and resolve design issues in a timely manner
- Support continuous improvement of design processes and workflows
- Support and collaborate with other design team members on shared projects and priorities
- Assist with training and mentoring team members as needed
- Maintain organized project documentation and records
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with applicable industry and quality standards
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
