About The Position
We are looking for a Truss Builder to assemble roof and floor trusses for new construction homes. You will work from specifications provided by our Engineering team to ensure builders can stay on schedule. This is a hands-on career path with training provided. The role involves working in a team environment with a steady rhythm, checking specs, staying organized, and seeing components come together. Coaching and learning are part of the daily plan.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions
- Comfortable communicating with coworkers and supervisors (verbal and written)
- Familiar with hand tools and small power tools (or ready to learn)
- Able to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods
- Team-player mindset with a great attitude
Responsibilities
- Assemble trusses to provided specifications
- Complete assignments from your Supervisor on time to meet the manufacturing schedule
- Make sure plates are set correctly and finished orders are properly banded
- Mark bundles clearly with job name and job number
- Keep equipment and your work area neat and in good working order
