TRUE Dads is a program in Oklahoma City that helps fathers improve their knowledge, strengthen their skills, build cooperative relationships with co-parents, and achieve economic stability. The program aims to enhance the quality of life for low-income fathers, particularly men of color, leading to improved outcomes for their children. The program focuses on fostering traits like Trustworthy, Responsible, United, and Educated. Educators are critical to the program's success, leading multi-session workshops, providing structured coaching, engaging fathers and co-parents in activities, and offering group-case management with information about community resources. The Educator will also oversee coaches during skills practice sessions and form working alliances with participants to support family success and positive behavior change. This is a part-time position with services delivered during evening hours and on weekends, requiring monthly training and preparation.
