Position Summary Facilitates the successful execution of transportation services by sourcing carrier capacity, negotiating rates, and coordinating freight movements. Serves as a key liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
2+ years of logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using transportation management systems (TMS).

Responsibilities

Negotiates transportation rates and pricing agreements with carriers to secure cost-effective capacity solutions.
Maintains strong relationships with customers and carriers to support service excellence and business growth.
Sources carrier capacity to meet customer transportation requirements and support consistent lane coverage.
Coordinates pickup and delivery schedules to ensure on-time freight movement and alignment with customer expectations.
Communicates shipment status updates, delays, and service exceptions to customers and stakeholders.
Maintains transportation management systems (TMS) and shipment records to support operational visibility and data accuracy.
Resolves service issues, escalations, and shipment discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support customer satisfaction.
