This position requires taking a proactive approach as a manager of people to maximize driver performance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of FMCSA Regulations including Hours of Service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good Management Skill
- Ability to handle high levels of stress
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Computer Applications
- Ability to prioritize
- Completes tasks quickly with minimal mistakes
- Conflict Management Skills a Must
- Problem solving skills required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ISO Tanks a plus
Responsibilities
- Transportation Manager must prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and timely by responding to customer inquiries and issues as needed.
- Oversee all departments responsible for vehicle inspections, DOT compliance, Maintenance, Scheduling, Customer Service, and PM programs.
