About The Position

The Truck Unloader moves route vehicles to the loading dock, unloads soiled linen, and returns the vehicle. The employee hangs bags of soiled linen on a rail or conveyor system, sorts linens into bins, and transfers them to other departments or areas of the facility. The role may also involve assisting sort/count workstations and performing other production tasks as needed. The position is classified as non-exempt.

Requirements

• Comprehend and follow directions.
• Recognize colors, sizes, and different products.
• Meet the physical requirements of the job and sustain them for the entire shift.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely move vehicles to the loading area, unload them, and move them back.
• Sort and transfer product to different areas of the facility.
• Hang bags of soiled linen onto the rail or conveyor system.
• Assist sort/count workstations as needed.
• Meet efficiency and safety standards for the position.
• Follow instructions from supervision.
• Work in other production positions as needed.
• Keep the work area clean.
