About The Position
The Warehouse picker/puller is responsible for accurately loading and unloading orders for shipment to customers.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
- Must have basic computer literacy.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Must be able to understand, speak, write and read English.
- Must be able to pass math test.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an order puller preferred
- Experience with a hand scanner strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Build Good shippable pallets keeping all items inside the pallet with no overhang
- Using Scanners we will pull orders in the system to assure that we are accurately completing each order.
- Once a pallet is complete it is dropped in the order staging area. It will be wrapped, Labeled, and moved to the out bound shipping dock.
- Exercise proper pallet usage by trying to limit the number of pallets for each order.
- Assist in Maintaining a clean warehouse.
- Cross train in other departments.
- Attendance is an essential function of this position
- Must be able to work in the elements during the entire shift.
