About The Position

The Truck Unload and Replenishment Prep Outfitter supports store efficiency by managing the receiving dock and precisely staging merchandise. The role unloads freight safely, pulls replenishment items accurately, and stages inventory by department so the overnight task team can stock merchandise without delays. Success requires attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and a commitment to a safe and productive work environment. The position performs tasks under general supervision using established procedures and innovation, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and opportunities to recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic, including subtraction and multiplication.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to constantly move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally move objects weighing 100 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods and repeat motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Ability to frequently ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, or similar structures.
• Ability to occasionally operate machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, or heavy equipment.
• Ability to occasionally work in tight or confined spaces, low or high temperatures, outdoor elements, noisy environments, and hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and help ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience for customers.
• Unload incoming delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Sort mixed freight by department to streamline handling and stocking.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through systemic replenishment.
• Inspect incoming cartons for damage and report discrepancies.
• Pull accurate systemic replenishment merchandise and stage it for the overnight task team.
• Ensure staged carts, pallets, and racks are stable and clearly labeled.
• Maintain the Receiving area layout as set by the Base Camp.
• Interact with outfitters and customers in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
• Communicate inventory flow needs clearly with the overnight task team.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and safe.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and seasonal demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
