About The Position

Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX is seeking to add two Truck-to-Truck Technicians to their team. This role performs hands-on operations of offloading box trucks. The position is for the 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) Monday-Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed. Training will typically be completed on a day shift for several weeks before transitioning to the scheduled shift. The starting pay is $19/HR. Once on the 2nd shift, a shift differential of $1.75 per hour worked will be added, bringing the pay to $20.75/Hr.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18 years or older
• 1+ Years of related experience
• Ability to use computer efficiently
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred
• Driving oversized box trucks preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Handle drum movements, unloading/loading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements
• Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections
• Ability to operate Class B trucks in future
• Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement
• Maintain area compliance with permit standards
• Meet or exceed daily production goals
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• All other duties as required by management
