About The Position

Kleysen Group is seeking a Truck Technician to work out of their fleet maintenance location in Sherwood Park. The role involves maintenance and repair of various company-owned trucks and trailers, including Kenworths, flat deck trailers, step deck trailers, bulk trailers, tankers, and yard equipment such as telehandlers, loaders, forklifts, a top loader, and pickups. The company also operates a mobile truck for on-site repairs. Kleysen Group supports the apprenticeship program and advancement in the HET program.

Requirements

Experience working on Transport Trucks and Trailers.
Trailer Technician (level 2 apprentice or higher) with CVIP for Trailers (or ability/willingness to obtain).
Technician must have own tools and safety boots.
Safety first approach to work & commitment to continuous learning.
Physically fit (able to lift approx. 50 lbs., kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time).
Must have own vehicle as public transportation is not available to the site.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Ability/willingness to obtain CVIP for Trailers.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair on various brands and configurations of company-owned trucks and trailers.
Perform repairs on flat deck trailers, step deck trailers, bulk trailers, tankers, yard equipment (telehandlers, loaders, forklifts, top loader & pickups).
Perform repairs at the Kleysen yard using a mobile truck when equipment cannot be brought to the shop.
