About The Position

The Truck Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations during shift hours, focusing on safety, production, quality, and employee relations. This role involves developing, leading, and training staff on proper catching methods, enforcing company regulations and policies (including GMPs), and maximizing efficiency in transportation and loading. The supervisor ensures timely loading and delivery of birds while meeting welfare and safety standards, manages proper staffing for hourly positions, and inspects employees, processes, and birds for compliance with USDA and company standards. Key objectives include minimizing downtime, DOA (Dead on Arrival), and shed time. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years' experience in DOT regulations, transportation preferred.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate spreadsheets in Excel.
• Good communication skills: English required, Spanish a plus. Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must be reliable, responsible, dependable, and able to fulfil obligations.
• Must be a self-starter and have to the ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Must be professional at all times, even in high stress situations.

Nice To Haves

• CDL licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect employees, processes and birds to ensure compliance with USDA and company standards.
• Minimize downtime, DOA and shed time.
• Other duties as assigned.
