About The Position

This role involves overseeing the sealing of trucks after they have been loaded at a designated terminal. The inspector is responsible for installing seals, recording seal numbers on the Bill of Lading (BOL), signing the BOL for seals, and generating an invoice (Factura) for the driver. The BOL and invoice are then emailed to Bureau Veritas operations. The position requires punctuality, adherence to all relevant regulations and standards (Bureau Veritas, federal, state, terminal, refinery, vessel), and ethical conduct. The Truck Sampler must maintain scheduled work status, participate in company meetings, and promptly report any issues or incidents to the Operations Supervisor and/or Dispatcher.

Responsibilities

  • Seal trucks after loading at the designated terminal.
  • Install seals on trucks at the assigned location.
  • Record seal numbers on the Bill of Lading (BOL).
  • Sign the BOL specifically for the seals applied.
  • Generate an invoice (Factura) for the driver.
  • Email the BOL and Factura (Invoice) to Bureau Veritas operations.
  • Report to the job-site punctually.
  • Observe all Bureau Veritas, applicable federal and state regulations and standards, Terminal, Refinery, and/or vessel requirements, including safety and measurement standards.
  • Behave ethically at all times.
  • Maintain a scheduled work status.
  • Support and participate in Amspec group’s company meetings as required.
  • Communicate any problems, discrepancies, or other noteworthy incidents to the Operations Supervisor and/or Dispatcher without delay.
